These other parties don’t matter because the press won’t cover them. And the press won’t cover them because they don’t matter.
The old ‘your vote for the wookiee-suiter is wasted’ canard. By that non-rationale, any vote for anyone who didn’t win is “wasted”. I live in Tennessee which is projected to go to Romney by like 18 points. So any vote cast in this state not for Romney is “wasted”. So, we should all wait and see who wins then vote for them. Then our vote counts. Or something.
My vote really doesn’t count because I’m not voting. But if I were going to, it’d be for Johnson.
Now, I do agree that the way to win is to invade a party and take it over. But the establishment is so entrenched, that will take a while. Look at how the establishment treats tea party types, for instance.

After what the RNC did to the Ron Paul folks at the convention, I’m not gonna pull the lever for their anointed candidate. RP wasn’t going to get the nomination; they could’ve let him speak at the convention. But they had to have their way and give the grassroots a big “fuck you”–so fuck them. The RNC’s only marginally better than the DNC in my book.
And fuck the NRA, too. They didn’t endorse the Republican Senate candidate in my state who got an A rating from GOA (my guess is because he was an RP guy), and they endorsed a Democratic House candidate who they gave an A but who the GOA gave a D. Well, I ain’t gonna vote their way, and they can kiss my ass. That’s why I’m a GOA life member, because the NRA leadership is a buncha bitches.
There are too many twisted alliances between lobbyists, political party masterminds, special interests, and dirty politicians in this game. I’m going to vote my conscience, stock up on ammo/components, and prepare for the worst. Unfortunately, there’s only a week left.
