Or what?
An academic adviser (someone one step up from asking “do you want fries with that?”) posted a no gun sign at his CU Boulder office. His sign carries no weight of law.

I worked with a guy who posted a sign on his office entry that read: “Absolutely NO Stupid People Allowed” but he said it never, never, not once, not ever, stopped a stupid person from bothering him.

I don’t see the problem here —
The douchebag in question can post the sign (note that it NOW says “Please…”
Students can ignore it at will.
The douchebag cannot refuse to provide the services he was hired for
If he refuses services, he gets fired. If he f*cks up a student’s file, the student can say the DB did it intentionally because he hates gun owners (a material fact that can be proven via the pretty little sign he so nicely posted on his office door), and the DB can get fired.
See? Nothing to fret about. I need to re-consider moving my retirement plans. Colorado….
