I don’t see where he shows any proof of what he says H&K did. Anyone have an old copy of Shotgun news with those ads maybe?

They still suck and they still hate us. I don’t have to spend thousands to kill a gopher. Hell, I might need to eat the damn thing. I don’t want to destroy to much of the meat. The cheeks of a squirrel are the best tasting cuts, right?

Strangely enough, I use an old Gun Digest from 1989 as my elbow rest when I’m at the computer. A few pages in from the cover, in the first glossy part, is an ad for the HK-91 as a hunting rifle. I wish I had a working scanner to show you. If you can get your hands on a copy, it’s opposite page 33(an article called ‘on the block again’, by R.L. Wilson).

I write the HK’s view of non-LEO and .mil gun owner as “You suck and we hate you” as a result of not one, but two bad personal experiences with HKs reps. Their arrogance and condescension is even head and shoulders about the farce of customer service at Taurus USA.
At one time, I owned four HK long, “black” rifles and an SP89.
Today, I’m down to one and will *never* buy one of their products again.
And frankly, in training, the only HK product was one of their wunderguns that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, even when it didn’t malfunction. Of course, if it didn’t have the sight radius of a .44 magnum snubbie… but that’s an engineering problem.
No, HK can go commit unsanitary acts with their mothers as far as I’m concerned.

I’m going to feel better about myself tonight as I lovingly stroke my HK91.

All those with experience with squirrel cheeks, please chime in.
