Gun crime Where Great Britain Used To Be up 35%

Is that article from 2003 or 2012? Both dates are on the page but the text doesn’t make it clear.
But the gun crime rate is still lower there than here… Oh wait, it always has been
I googled around a bit, and found the exact same numbers posted on other UK news sites in early 2003, so yea, this article is almost 10yrs old.
Remember that in Britain, a death doesn’t count as a homicide for statistical purposes until someone is convicted of the crime. That is why the gun homicide rate is so low. I wonder if all “gun crimes” are treated the same way…
