The WaPo says British gangs aren’t using guns anymore because they’re hard to find. I guess in 2003 when guns used in crime went up 46%, that dried up the supply?

Assuming they are speaking in truth, I’d respond with “right… instead, they’re stabbing each other to the point that the British are seriously looking at banning the ownership of common kitchen knives.”

For the year that I posted foreign gun crime stories, all I did was search for “gun” on BBC and the Sydney Morning Herald. It was easy to get one story a day. My favorite were the machine gun gang hits.

I finally had to delete my Google alert for “Machine Gun” because all the stories came from the UK.
