Remembering Debra Maggart
Jeff Woods is crapping his pants (again) because the guns in cars bill made it through committee without discussion. Suddenly, there’s a concern for property rights. Whose property is the vehicle, anyway?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

The same politicians that love property rights have no qualms about using imminent domain. Go figure.

Jeff Woods seems to be a complete dumbass from this one article. Disgruntled workers wouldn’t bring their Glocks to work (to go postal) if it were illegal to do so. Where have I heard this (il)logic before?
Funny how he used the expression of “going postal”… It’s illegal in every state and territory to carry a weapon on USPS property. How has that worked out? (search poster 158)

Don’t fret. It’s not just the one article that makes him seem to be a complete dumbass. It’s all of them.

And for the so-called liberals…since when do property rights trump civil rights…especially when exercised inside your own vehicle? I’m assuming that “civil rights” are synonomous with the U.S. Bill of Rights and the Tennessee Constitution’s Declaration of Rights.
And another question for so-called “liberals” (Nashville Scene), shouldn’t a woman have the right to carry the means in her own vehicle to protect her body against the robber, the rapist and the murderer during her work commute?
I say “so-called liberals” because once upon a time liberals supported and defended the liberties of the people.
