We respect your money, just not your rights
Representative Joe Salazar announced an amendment to HB 13-1224, L.0.14, that would specifically exempt Magpul from this legislation in as far as they would still be welcome to manufacture and sell these black high capacity ammunition clip death machines to civilians, just not to Coloradans.

As a Coloradan, I fully support Magpul flipping the finger and leaving the state. Make those idiots in the capitol building feel the consequences.

As a Coloradan, YOU and others like you should make them feel the consequences.

Leave and refuse to sell to Colorado government agencies.

Dear Uncle and your readers:
I like ben’s idea, but I have a better one. Sell your product at twice the price to Colorado, New York, and …
And, …
ATLein is right; we have to make the politicians feel the consequences.
Lastly, ‘Hey Magpul, come to …. (Sorry, OPSEC) my friends and I would love to say …. (Sorry, OPSEC, again) is home of Magpul!!!
Peace

I did not get the impression from Magpuls stance on this issue and letter to the legislature, that they were playing cronie capitalist games. I hope Magpul sticks to their guns (whatever you think of puns) and moves out of state should Colorado violate the rights of her citizens.

Tennessee politicians would be crazy not to be using the state plane to fly to gun makers in the states that have or are about to enact draconian gun laws.

I’ve already offered my services to the CEO to move to Kentucky!

I am much obliged to the link and hope that everyone who reads this uses it to spread the word at the hypocrisy of the Democrats on this issue.

Also I want to add, to those saying “Magpul is welcome to *fill in the blank* and screw Colorado”. Colorado is not a liberal left wing state. This legislation is not a reflection of what Coloradan’s want. Bloomberg has hired a lobbying firm to ram this legislation through our government and it is working.
Instead of writing off our state as some lost cause. Help us fight. Colorado is on the front lines of this fight, and when gun owners write us off, they are letting the enemy closer to their own turf. Prior to this legislation, Colorado was/is one of the states with the most lenient gun laws. We have Open Carry here with no permit, no registration of guns, no waiting periods, no one gun a month bullshit, no May Issue, no AWB’s. If it can happen here, IT CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE.
I am trying to draw attention to what is happening with Magpul as a way of stopping this legislation. Please don’t read this and just accept it and invite Magpul to your state. HELP US FIGHT! Spread the word, write to CO reps and senators, make phone calls, spread the word on Facebook and Twitter.

I’m with you El Bombardero. This is NOT some PR stunt that Magpul is pulling. I have NO doubt that, should this legislation pass the Senate and be signed into law by Gov. Hickenlooper, Magpul WILL leave for greener, friendlier pastures. And I will fully support thier decision.
As for those of you more interested in acquiring Magpul for your state than you are seeing the tide of gun control nationwide – a pox on all your houses. We are all in this fight together. Two years ago we would never have DREAMED of having to fight this battle in CO. But we’re neck deep in it now, and if it can happen here it can happen anywhere. So, help us fight this scourge that menaces us all – for it will surely be at your doorstep next.
“If we don’t hang together, we shall surely all hang separately” ~ Ben Franklin
Today’s final House vote was VERY close – and may not have passed at all had VP Biden not made an impromptu appearance to rally anyone who the Dems felt may have been wavering. So, that shows just how much the WH and Bloomberg’s minions have invested in the fight here. We still have hopes of stopping it in the Senate, but with a 20-vote disadvantage it WILL be an uphill battle. Hopefully Magpul’s leaving in an already shaky economy will push a few our way – but all twenty? Not likely.
So we need your help – in any and every way possible. You know all the pro-gun groups out there – and most of them are focused on the battle here. So donate your time, money, expertise – whatever – to OUR cause, and regardless the outcome we’ll be there to aid you in your hour of need JUST AS WE’VE ALWAYS BEEN.
