Pull my other one. No, my other, other one.

Mark Kelly says he was so going to turn that AR-15 he bought in to the police. I wonder how the turn in conversation would go:

Kelly: I’m here to turn in this gun?

Officer Friendly: Uh, what?

Kelly: Yeah, I got caught buying this thing that I advocate banning and I need to turn it in. You know, my PR person says so.

Officer Friendly: Was it used in a crime?

Kelly: ONLY THE CRIME THAT PEOPLE CAN BUY THOSE!!!!!ELEVENTYONE

Officer Friendly: Uhm, yeah, we don’t really do that. Have you tried a pawn shop?

Kelly: And put this killing machine back on the street!

Officer Friendly: Hmm (checks price of AR-15s these days), sure, I’ll take it.

In AZ, when a gun os turned on voluntarily the police have to sell it.

  2. Lance R. Peak Says:

Does that mean he committed a felony by making a straw purchase since he did not purchase the rifle for himself?

In TUCSON, where people like Steve Kozachik are on the city council, they will try their best to destroy it, despite state laws against it. There’s a bill in session right now that clarifies that firearms the police receive must be sold back to the public, but as of right now, weapons voluntarily turned in to TPD are destroyed.

I thought it was in the whole state.

I doubt he’ll be buying it anymore anyway.
He had to wait while they checked if it was stolen or something.

    I figure he won’t because it’s a Sig, it’s probably over $2,000.
That’s a lot of money to throw away committing a felony.

SPACE MADNESS! is the only explanation…
And he’s trying to press the big, red, shiny, candylike “History Eraser Button”! Holy crap! Ren and Stimpy was a documentary!

The law was written for the whole state, but there is a loophole the good peopel at AZCDL have been working to fix. This is one “loophole” it seems the grabbers don’t want fixed…

You truly can’t make this stuff up.

It’s even funnier than DiFi admitting she carries a 38 special snubnose (doesn’t everyone? – I certainly do) and Sarah Brady admitting she illegally transported a shotgun in her trunk (in DC or somewhere) to deliver to her son.

Or David Greggory violating DC’s ordinance against high cap mags.

    Or …

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
