Whats suprising is Reid apparently admitted he doesn’t have 40 vote for an AWB which means 13 Dems saw the writing on the wall.

This is a good thing, but there are other victories we really need as well before we can catch our breath. I agree with the others, we must redouble our efforts to fight any registration scheme. Treachery, lies, & calumny abide from those who would seek to put second amendment enthusiasts behind the eight ball.

What is even more Delicious is that the Stupid Old Bag COMBINED Frankie Lautenberg’s “Hi-Capacity Magazine Ban” Bill with hers, so it looks like NEITHER of them can get a Vote, unless 60 Senators allow it as an Amendment.
Of course, the MSM is spinning this as ALL the work of the NRA, NOT the Fact that she couldn’t get enough Votes from HER OWN PARTY!

I am glad I didn’t succumb to the urge to buy a M-4, AR-10, Dragunov and some of the other black rifles I don’t yet own.
Or $80 Magpull AR mags, or outlandishly priced ammo.

Indeed. As you all recall, they just didn’t have the votes for Obamacare. They “deemed” it passed and it’s the law of the land now.

She can bring it back up on the floor too, which is how the ’94 AWB was introduced and passed. I have never thought this bill was a dog whistle to distract us. I think the plan is throw everything at us and pass as much as they can, whatever it might be.
