Remember, in the New York Times Official Phrase Book for Staff Writers, “Defensive Gun Use” is classified as an Oxymoron, and is Banned.

Use a gun defensively, go to jail …if you’re lucky!…if a NY cop sees you using a gun defensively or otherwise you and a number of passersby may well not see another sunrise.

…you sure as he77 ain’t gonna tell a reporter or a cop that you used a gun defensively if you aren’t supposed to have a gun to begin with!
