It took 6 direct hits to stop the attacker. Luckily, Cuomo has assured me I’ll never need more than 7 rounds in my magazine. Because nobody misses and there’s never more than one attacker.
Also, carrying a gun in your car when you are IN you car is only good when SOMEBODY ELSE is getting their brains beaten in and you want to protect them.
I think the take-home message here is that police officers don’t need to be armed because they can call for help and rely on their fellow citizens to save them.
Of course, the police couldn’t bring themselves to admit that a mere ordinary citizen saved a cop’s life. That would go against the approved narrative, y’know.

I think that story is a couple of years old. I know I read it quite some time back. Still a good example of an armed citizen helping out.

Yeah, that happened a few years ago. The decedent was black and there were race complaints. He was also a professional boxer, IIRC.

I thought it looked familiar but I didn’t find a date on the article.

LOL. Turns out I linked the same piece last year and it was old then:

I was about to lament that a gunowner was actually buying something at AutoZone…

Here is another good story about a citizen aiding police.

D2K that’s an older story too.

4 out of 4. No Dangerous Crossfire!(tm). No The Children!(tm) killed. Wonder if the LAPD or NYPD are looking for new recruits?

No, not 4 for 4. 5 for 5. He ignored the 4 to the torso, so he warned him a 5th time and then plugged him in the grape.
Uncle, in your last year post, someone commented on it being from 2009. It’s at least 2006 old, but it’s still a valid story: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1582403/posts

He wasted two bullets. A warning, two shots and another warning was enough to go for the head shot. I wasn’t there though.

I thought the .45 was a man stopper? This dude took four and kept whipping the cops butt.
Guess my 9mm would have only tickled his fancy.
