Why the gun bill failed
NRA told them they’d be held accountable and this would affect their grades.
Also, gun control groups pushing unpopular legislation as part of their package meant the background check bill didn’t go through. You have to dance in the blood of dead children quickly, apparently.

Do they really think so? Lets see NRA’s ranking:
reid – NRA rating B anti-gun supporter
toomey – NRA rating A anti-gun supporter
manchin – NRA rating A anti-gun supporter
Doesn’t appear to me that they are influenced by the NRA very much.
Matter of fact I’m starting to wonder which side the NRA is on.

The NRA has always been willing to compromise way too much.
GOA is the way to go.
Also if Manchin and Toomey don’t both have “F” ratings by now, the NRA has no balls.

I haven’t seen the NRA giving up anything recently. They have in the past, but I’m pleasantly surprised by their spine recently. I do agree that their grading of elected officials does need some work.
