Sullivan, who was the interim ATF director for a while and during that time fast and furious happened, was engaged by NSSF and is somehow portrayed as a gun rights guy. Odd story

He was there under Bush and by all accounts was fairley progun. He left when obama got elected, in large part due to the drastic change in policy that was being advocated. In the end he is an attorney being paid to advance the nssf issues and not a policy guy. Sometimes the issue of does the attorney believe it or is he just getting paid to advance it is a bit murky

He’s running ads locally for his Senate run, and the spots go as following:
“Vote for Michael Sullivan, he’s a trusted Republican who can Nanny, Nanny, Nanny, Nanny, Big Government, Nanny, Nanny, Nanny, Keep us safe from Terrorists, Nanny, Nanny, Nanny, Nanny!”
I’m paraphrasing a bit, but boy he sounds like Scott Brown if Scott Brown told the truth on how he stood.
