It’s a “shoot through” device, intended for SWAT cops to disable getaway vehicles and make it harder for escaping bad guys to push said disabled cars out of the way with another vehicle. It actually installs OVER the flash hider.
A. Cops rarely carry bayonets, nor would most departments allow them to.
B. This thing works better than a bayonet at quickly deflating a tire.
Having said that, I’d just issue my guys a handheld deflator (looks and works exactly the same, only it has a handle).

OoooohKay… Let me get this straight. It plugs INTO the barrel, therefore interfering with the ability to actually shoot?

Looks to me like a way to circumvent a law that prohibits bayonet lugs.
