How many people would just rather they starved in the dark? I know some small town people like their cops, but in places like LA cops would be less harmful if unarmed and pedaling bicycles.

  2. kahr40 Says:

Maybe they should ask Homeland Security.

  3. AndyN Says:

He also sent in a request to Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar for help regarding their ammunition shortage.

Perhaps if he could convince those two to stop trying to shred the Constitution, US citizens wouldn’t feel as though they needed to stockpile ammunition and the problem would solve itself.

  4. Rivrdog Says:

Woo Hoo. Does this make the cops Militia members if the citizens have to supply their ammo?

  5. Old NFO Says:

    Love Rivrdog’s comment!!! 🙂

  6. Shermlock Shomes Says:

After the behavior of the police in Boston I’m not inclined to assist them in the suppression of my civil rights.

  7. Snowdog Says:

I can barely stock enough ammo for my own family’s needs. FOAD. One bullet was enough for Deputy Fife to carry, one should be more than enough for modern Officer Friendly.

  8. Mu Says:

There might be a message in there: Train for the aimed shot instead of the “spray and pray that you hit the target and not only the bystanders” method.

  9. JKB Says:

I have it on good authority, well New York state so not good authority, that 7 rounds is sufficient.

But the solution is simple, call the governor, have the governor declare a state of emergency and call the White House to get them to declare a state of emergency so that the Department of Homeland Security can release a portion of the Strategic Ammunition Reserve.

Oh and refuse to cooperate with any Department of Homeland Security investigation or operation without prior payment in ammunition.

  10. JKB Says:

Oh, forgot one, trade-in the cool new secret ninja tools purchased with DHS grant money for DHS ammo

Let’s be careful about lumping cops into one big “rights suppressing” category (Lord knows gun owners hate being lumped in with the psycho mass shooters). A lot of them are extremely supportive of the 2nd amendment and are members of the gun community. There are certainly a lot of bad apples (Boston was frightening), but my experience has been very positive overall. This is especially true of small town cops and sheriffs/deputies who are often still true to the idea that they serve the community that they are a part of. As someone who has lived all over, I think that your impression of police is dependent on where you live (urban vs. rural).

  12. ATLien Says:

Really, Navy? Since they don’t have enough rounds, maybe that’s why they’re beating people to death with nightsticks.

  13. Jeff from DC Says:

Yes ATLien, cops nationwide got together and plotted this after he found out about Bilderbirg. Did you get turned down from a job or get a ticket once that ruined your day? All you do is complain about the police. You are worse than an Occupier.

  14. ATLien Says:

Fuck you, Jeff. When the police start punishing their own for shit that would get us put away for many many years, THEN I’ll show them them some respect. When they start doing the most basic of police work and stop raiding the wrong houses and shooting family pets, THEN I’ll show them some respect. When they quit acting like high school bullies who are above the law, THEN I’ll show them some respect. When they stop stepping on the Constitution over and over again, THEN I’ll show them some respect.

And learn how to spell “Bilderberg”, you twatwaffle.

  15. NavyDoc Says:

    ATL,

Your logic, for lack of a more eloquent description, sucks. I just finished saying how the actions of a select few are not representative of a group, and your response is to provide another emotionally-cahrged, but isolated, incident? If that tactic seems familiar to anyone its because it is the same one used by the anti-gun fascists to try to sway people towards eliminating our Constitutional rights.

Put your thinking cap on. The police are not some centrally coordinated conspiracy group. They’re a profession. I’ll grant you that there’s some professional groups, unions, and associations, but on the whole they’re no more organized than engineers, truck drivers, or dentists. That event was horrific, and the people involved should be locked in a dark hole for the rest of their lives. However, that doesn’t mean that some local sheriff hundreds of miles away shares the blame simply because he happens to have the same job.

By your same logic the OB/GYN delivering babies at your local hospital must be a monster because he shares a profession with that Gosnell psycho who killed those newborns in PA.

Furthermore, there are good cops who are standing up for you. Would you consider these guys to be high school bullies? http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/14822-two-colorado-sheriffs-won-t-enforce-new-gun-laws Seems to me they’re the ones standing up to the bullies. How about the cops in OathKeepers? http://oathkeepers.org/oath/ . I could continue, but I only have so much patience when responding to such acrimonious idiocy.

I’ll finish by saying that it would not surprise me if, as Jeff suggested, you have had a few run ins with the police. They, like anyone else, don’t tolerate assholes well and your behavior above certainly classifies you as such. It’s like my grandfather used to say, “If you think everyone around you is an asshole, it’s probably you who is the asshole.”

  16. Jeff from DC Says:

Thanks, Walter Mitty. Calling me a twatwaffle really put me in my place. Feel free to eat a dick on your way out.

  17. Dan Says:

    Dear diary

Today while visiting Uncle’s place I learned a new word….

  18. Depope Says:

I don’t know how I found this blog but it is weird at best. Cops come in three very distinct categories; one, I never served in the military and just want to shoot someone in the face (pussies); two, I like lights and authority so I’ll bully all of the law abiding citizens (pussy); and three, I am a man with common sense, discretionary thinking (right from wrong) and balls to take on situations which require all of the above. Too many pussies join for the wrong reason; to assert authority that they could not have done if they were a man; power trip, again pussies, and want-a-be military men.

I’ll finish by saying that it would not surprise me if, as Jeff suggested, you have had a few run ins with the police. They are just common men trying to make a living. If you disagree, then go to town hall meetings, vote, engage chiefs of police, etc.

I very dislike cops also, for some of the above reasons. But be proactive, engage. If you only want to whine, then you have no voice anywhere.

    Man Up!!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
