In Colorado
Vote for gun control, get recalled.
Also, every magazine I own is illegal in Colorado. I wonder if there’s a date provision in Colorado law? Like other mag bans had where if the mag was made before some date, it was good. If so, I’ll happily ship all of my mags there provided the recipients buy me new ones.

Ban is based on date of ownership. I’ve been purchasing like crazy and writing up receipts for my young daughters so they can take them when I’m done with them (based on transfers, can’t even transfer to a family member, but I don’t see any problem with a minor owning a magazine).
Hopefully we’ll vote these idiots out, but it’s a hard row to hoe.

Yes there’s a date & serial number provision – along with any other markings the CBI thinks is proper, but that only applies to mags made in Colorado.

Gotta love it. Might have to frame one of these and put it up on the wall.

Stephen:
The police in CO will need to prove that your kids did not own the magazine before the ban. Your kids don’t have to prove squat.
They are not going to even try to spend the money needed to do that for a misdemeanor.
If some cop just seizes them, drive up to Wyoming and buy some more.

Publicola: Which is why magazine makers are simply leaving the state. And why they are starting to not put serial numbers on any magazines.

Magpul was doing a special for CO residents before the law went active and they pulled out. I don’t own an AR [yet], but I ordered five myself, because fuck them.

(them being gun grabbers, not Magpul. I’m bailing on CO too)
