Well, there goes that talking point
The whole “Yeah, well the IRS targeted lefties too” is bullshit.
The whole “Yeah, well the IRS targeted lefties too” is bullshit.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

C’mon, they targeted left-handed conservatives and right-handed conservatives both. How much more bipartisan could they get?

Each one of these hearings shows up lies in the testimony of previous hearings, but the indictments for lying to Congress/lying under oath aren’t exactly rolling in, are they?
Paper tigers, these GOPes.

Yeah, right, the IRS went after liberal organization.
Sure, I believe you guys, when you’re not taking the 5th (or making a stupid effort to do so).
I have been doing IRS Forms 1023 and 1024, applications for tax exempt status, for 30 years.
Your application is, more often than not, assigned to some apparatchik, who sends you of list of (stupid) questions, the answers to which are already contained in the lengthy IRS form.
So, you usually waste a lot of time and effort satisfying the demands of someone who wields his or her power like a mall cop.
The whole experience is Kafkaesque.
In spite of the fact that I make my living working in the Federal and state taxation areas, I would like to see all existing taxes abolished and replaced with a VAT or a national sales tax.
Let’s pink slip all these IRS types, including the ones who don’t like to explain to Congress how they enforce Congress’ laws, and let them make an honest living.
