Fears of the wild west? The so called “wild west” wasn’t anywhere near as “wild” as the B westerns make it out to be. Crime of all types was vastly lower than it is now. Even most homicides wer’nt cold blooded murder, they were mostly the outcome of fights between two or more willing combatants and those didn’t happen as much as some people believe.
