The description is priceless:
THIS GLOCK 23 HAS BEEN EXTREMELY MODIFIED AND IS SUGGESTED FOR HANDLING BY EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS WHEN IN THIS CONFIGURATION
Bonus points for the sexy cardboard background. Oh dear lord there is already a bidder.
It’s as bad as though pocket 22’s with no trigger guard and no safety. You can easily blow a hole in your leg, testicles or worse just trying to get the stupid thing out of your pocket. They’re called pocket pistols but I’d never put one in my pocket.
Oh I don’t know. I guess as long as it has that patentedd Glock “safe action ” trigger and OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED, what the freak is he thinking!!!!! Actually tho’ it’s pretty strong Darwin Award medicine and I can hardly wait for the front page report.
While I recognize the missing trigger guard is the Coup de Grace…the camoflaging of the magazines should not go unnoticed. Its ironic that to appreciate the FDE camo one must remove the mags from the gun, since only the upper section of the mag is painted.
In his previous job I think the seller gave gun presentations and said things like “This is a Glock forty, fifty cent, too short, all of um talk about a glock forty, Ok I’m the only one in this room who’s professional enough, that I know of who can carry this Glock forty”.
“THE SUBTRACTION OF THE TRIGGER GUARD WAS A BIT MUCH FOR MY TASTE”
Oh…. Really? Seems just fine to me…. So this guy even know it’s fucking retarded.
“BUT ONCE AGAIN GUNS ARE TOOLS AND EACH HAS THEIR PURPOSE.”
… This one should be purposefully stripped and destroyed. I would say the current bidder maybe would be buying it as a parts gun, but not at $555.
I’m not sure the high bidder is a shill actually. Either way, I reported it to Gunbroker under the FRAUD listing. Because the auction is for a working handgun, and I don’t consider this to be in working order even if it does function. It can never been used in a safe manor.
Pete, those mini revolvers are less dangerous than that Glock, as they are single action only. You can pull the trigger on them all day long, and nothing will happen until you cock the hammer. That Glock, on the other hand…
It’s not just that it’s remarkably stupid, it’s also incredibly ugly… But, I guess ‘stupid should hurt’ is not enough, stupid should be glaringly obvious as well.
I followed Other Steve’s link to the other auction. I read all the way through the description. I am in pain.
Didn’t the fitz specials still have the lower portion of the trigger guard?
What bother me was the tan mags. Why paint the top portion of the mags and not the bottom( or just the bottom)? Am I missing something? Was he carrying them in a bandoleer?
1) Tactical Graham Cracker textured grip. 2) Mags so well camouflaged they actually disappear from sight when inserted in the gun . 3) Absent trigger guard AND A belly band holster. 4) Bag O’ Take-Off Parts ensuring WECSOG reliability and trigger pull. There’s so much fail, I wouldn’t trust it even as a parts gun.
The fact that he carries a triggerguard-less Glock in a “custom modified” belly band for the win.
I could live with the fact that he had angry chipmunks nibble all over the frame, and had an unfortunate accident with a can of spray paint. I don’t think HE could live with carrying that in a soft, elastic holster. . . for very long.
Looked at his other auction. Dude is fast on the soldering iron, ain’t he? (Not that I have any problem with stippling your gun where you like it, but I usually don’t bother trying to increase the friction on parts I’m not gripping. . . )
Back off, noobs. So much hate from a bunch of wannabe’s. You are SO inexperienced that you can’t even tell that this is one of the prototype Rick Taylor Combat Specials.
It’s a rare left-handed model, as you can’t see the sights that are JB-welded to the left side of the slide for the cutting edge Taylor Ghetto Hold.
If you’d a taken a class from Rick and stood down range while he demonstrated this fantastic piece of awesome machinery – operating an operations class for future operators – you would have known.
He updated his description. I think you’ve hit a nerve.

THIS LISTING HAS LITERALLY GONE VIRAL IN THE GUN COMMUNITY.. WOW.. WHO GIVES A FUCK. IM TIRED OF ALL YOU ARMCHAIR COMPUTERSCREEN SHITTALKING SONS OF BITCHES THAT HAVE NO MORAL HIGH GROUND ON THIS AUCION SALE ITEM(S) OR SHIT! STOP PM MESSGING ME WITH ALL THAT OPINION BASED BULLSHIT COCKSUCKERS. I CARRIED THIS WEAPON FOR 2 YEARS DAILY WITH AND WITHOUT THE TG AND I STILL GOT MY LEGS BALLS AND SANITY TO PROVE IT. THANK YOU TO THE BIDDERS WHO HAVE PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTH IS AND LET THEIR ACTIONS REVAL THEIR TRUE INTENTIONS.. TO OWN A. 1/1 PIECE. WITH THIS MESSAGE IM SUBMITTING 50 MORE FED HOLLOWS TO THE WINNING BIDDER. BUY NOW PRICE IS NULL AND VOID LETS TAKE THIS LISING THROUGH THE ROOF ON THESE ARMCHAIRCOMPUTERSCREEN CRITICS OF OUR DAY..SHIT THEY REMIND ME OF DIANNE FINESTINE… GET A LIFE.
Geez, I think he’s a bit mad. I’m wondering why since he’s obviously demonstrated his gun-smithing skills to you guys. (Damnit, where in the hell is that sarcasm tag?)
If I had to guess, the bidder probably wants the slide. Fish-gill style RTF2 slides aren’t exactly common. I doubt that there’s an real issue with the mags or barrels, so they’re value added. Last I checked, new Glock frames could be had for 250-300. I’ve also heard that Glock doesn’t really care about frame modifications when it comes to the warranty, so the bidder may intended to go that route.
As far as the mags go, the paint is probably to make them stand out on the ground, but without being visible in the holster or gun. Ever go to a competitive shoot? People do all kinds of things to their magazines to make them more unique. That’s actually a big part of why I use E-Mags (at least that’s what I tell people).
As far as him having actually carried this, I’d wager that he’s either lying, or he carried it with an empty chamber; either would seem to fit the bubba’d nature of this pistol.
Give the seller a break. Once he bought that spray-on truck bed liner set to have a home bidsnez, he couldn’t resist shooting it on other stuff, too, like his XD-45.

I’m sure there are are moar dumberer examples to be found.

I recommend an appendix holster.
July 1st, 2013 at 10:40 pm
At first I was wondering what was so wrong with it since I’ve seen far worse, and then I noticed the missing trigger guard. What the hell?
July 1st, 2013 at 10:57 pm
I guess he was trying to make a modern Fritz Fitzgerald (a large bore revolver with the trigger guard cut off.)
It wasn’t smart back then and it isn’t a smart idea now.

Fucking… WOW.
July 1st, 2013 at 11:03 pm
Just say no.
There are guns that work without a trigger guard (the Tavor for example). On a glock its just NO.

HL, “Coup de Grace”? I think you nailed it. This is an executioner’s gun.

I almost feel the need to buy this, just to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

But for Crom’s Sake, put the thing out of its Misery!

It says hes located in Memphis at the top of the page,
Why is any of this a surprise?
July 2nd, 2013 at 11:02 am
I want to know if his mom/wife/PO made him sell it after they saw the youtube video of him shooting himself in the leg.
Just a wild guess.
July 2nd, 2013 at 11:25 am
No one is bidding. Good.

A friend of the seller maybe?
