I made the mistake of reading the comments on an article about guns in a publication in the U.K. I wanted to see if anyone corrected the article’s author in the constant reference to the rifle as an “automatic rifle” but I couldn’t get more than 5 comments in before the stupid and ignorant hurt.
I don’t think so, Wizard – all he did was remove the folding stock, and the gun should have been long enough with the stock folded.
Steve, the same ones who call a plain ol’ semi-auto AK an “automatic machine gun”
Maybe, and I am just throwing this out there, we should give some one the benefit of the doubt that they knew what they were doing rather than randomly accusing someone of a federal felony? I know it feels good to feel superior to some random dude you have never met on the Internet, but I don’t feel like it is right to run around accusing someone of something that could make them wind up in a federal P.I.T.A prison. If you think he made a mistake, find his YouTube channel and send him a message rather than accusing him of violating the NFA.
SteveA, most folding stock AKs do not have tangs, and the dimensions of AKs vary widely depending on the origin, extra equipment, etc. Notice the extra-long flash suppressor? That may be why it’s there. Unless you can apply a tape measure to that rifle, you really don’t know (like Codismo said).

What idiot thinks that over pressure and a higher cyclic rate makes a gun work “better”???

I really like Destin and have subscribed to his channel for years….but I think there’s an NFA violation in there.

“Surprisingly, the gun still works perfectly after the experiment.”
Is not surprising. Is Russian.
