Guns in cars in TN
There was a bit of a kerfuffle over what legislators thought the ban did (protect people from prosecution and getting fired) and what it actually did, which was to make doing that not illegal. And that must be fixed, says our Lieutenant Governor.

Legislators a chance to fix this on the house floor but didn’t because a Dem offered the amendment. I specifically warned my Rep about this and another problem in the law (the one that only covers your car), the voted against the amendment because that’s what the powers that be had ordered.
