We must register every thing
Rep. Coo Coo Banana proposes cutting funding to states that don’t register neighborhood watch programs. Ok, then.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

“decrease the incidence of gun violence resulting from vigilantes”, she said.
Yeah, because that happens so much.
Well, and because we all know that Zimmerman was a vigilante, the way he was keeping an eye on Martin per the directions of the 911 dispatcher, to guide Actual Police Officers to him.
Because that’s what vigilante means.
I swear, the woman is a disgrace to the House – and that’s a pretty high bar.

What happened to “If you see something, say something?”
Is a gated community a secure area? Is a person who, to the best of your knowledge, doesn’t live there and is wandering around in the dark, in the rain, while wearing a hood that conceals his identity suspicious?
How would registering a neighborhood watch have prevented a person who called in this suspicious person while on the way to the store have changed anything?

I will be satisfied if we just register people on probation and parol and sex offenders (like the one seeking to be mayor of New York).

Uh, keep this in mind. If the Republitards LOSE the House in 2014, and the DemaCommies keep the Senate, Sheila Jackson “Where’s the Flag?” Lee’s Bill could become Law.
Just look at what Holder’s Dept. of Injustice is doing down in Texas is spite of the Supreme Court saying “NO, you can’t do that anymore” just a couple of months ago.
And OUR Tax Dollars are paying for it.
So don’t discount ANYTHING coming from the Demacommies.
Or have we forgotten what they did in New York, Colorado, Maryland, Connecticut….

She’s behind the curve. They don’t NEED to register everything. The NSA already does that for us.

Well, let’s not be too hasty in our condemnation. Yes, Jackson-Lee lives in a very different universe. Beyond pure amusement value, however, there’s a nugget here: making ‘Duty to Retreat” mandatory nation-wide may have one advantage.
‘Duty to Retreat” means, AFAIK, that when faced with a threat of death or severe bodily injury, or maybe just someone who’s upset, one must leave the scene immediately at best possible speed.
So, those of us with CCW merely have to display a firearm, the presence of which, according to Her Royal Highness, constitutes “threat of death or severe bodily injury.” Since the law requires “Duty to Retreat” the bad guy must, by law, leave. Crime avoided, problem solved.
She’s brilliant !

And my brother will have a duty to leave the presence of my sister-in-law whenever she does a “mommie meltdown”, so he could be doing this more often each week than Woodie Allen and Diane Keaton had sex in “Annie Hall”!!!!!
