Reading the comments over there, I see the mastery of sophistry is considered a badge of honor.
I especially like the one guy harping on ‘dangerous’ weapons. They’re weapons, they’re REQUIRED to be dangerous in order to be effective. Duh. According to him, the gov’t has the right to pull out your teeth since they can be considered weapons and as long as you have dentures you can wear at home, it’s not like they’re infringing on anything.
Hair splitting over something that’s simple and easy seems to be par for the course with most people. And they feel smug about being able to redefine ‘wet’ in a way that indicates water may actually be as dry as a dessert iguana’s ass.
