That didn’t quite work as planned
Anti-gunners were going to avoid Starbucks for one day because their policy on guns is to comply with local laws. Seems the pro-gun people showed up in significant numbers. That’d be a good day to go since Starbucks would be mostly hippie free.
Meanwhile, Starbucks probably doesn’t care.

oh, they care! this freaks them out on a franchise level.

“Despite” boycott? I guess Fox Butterfield was the headline writer.

I haven’t noticed anybody carrying at the Knox Plaza SBX, the one I frequent the most.
Far as I can tell, only one of their employees might make a scene about it, but ya never know.

from the comments………
“I’m boycotting for good…when someone else’s rights infringe on my own, that’s legal tyranny. I won’t buy any Starbucks product again. I have the right in the constitution to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And if in my pursuit of happiness I am uncomfortable in a gunslinging coffee shop they’ve just messed with my constitutional rights!”
what………..do they actually listen to the words coming out of their mouths?

They posted this today on their fazeboog page. Coincidence? I think not.

Weren’t they already boycotting Starbucks?
Boycotts don’t stack.
So it either makes it look like they’re so addicted to going to Starbucks that a one day absence is a big deal…
Or that their original boycott fell flat and they needed to get some more attention.

I didn’t even know about the boycott, but apparently it was all over facebook or something.
My wife told me about it after she said “So aren’t we going to starbucks today?” on Saturday morning. After I gave her a blank look she let me in on it.
You gotta wonder if Starbucks is paying CSGV for this wonderful viral marketing campaign.

Jack, that’s correct. Which is what caused Miguel at GunFreeZone to comment something like ‘So they don’t go to Starbucks because they don’t ban guns, but they REALLY won’t go today?’
