Funny, we don’t have these issues in Alaska. I’m not sure if it’s because you don’t need a permit for open or concealed carry or because we only have one Starbucks.
Always good advice, but when something as public as the Starbucks kerfuffle happens, sometimes it’s not enough to prevent backlash at other companies who are always desperate to be PC, and probably at their core were antis all along.
In a post ragging on her WallyWorld but bragging on their corporate response to her slick complaint process, she says that while it’s WW for ammo and sundries, when it comes to groceries she’s something of a foodie snob and a Fresh Market patron.
Unfortunately a call to *their* corporate in Carolina reveals that they have “just sent out” gun ban signs for all of their locations. Coincidence? I think not. And if Tam and others wish to make good on their intention to respect proprieters’ requests and not go the “flout route”, it’s another heretofore gun-neutral, follow-the-law vendor that is now off-limits.
Wonder if any of the nitwit activists who precipitated the Starbucks about-face have any idea the can of worms that they opened. Thanks a lot, ya’ll.
Hey, yall out there around East TN — how about a protest outside one of our local Fresh Markets? Keep it simple, just carry signs saying “Fresh Market is Anti-Rights!”
After all, the holidays are coming up, and I’d bet this is the season when they least want angry customers.
