A poster at M14Forum is being sued by Smith Enterprises for writing unflattering comments about them.
Obama administration had restrictions on NSA reversed in 2011. So, now they read your facebook posts and emails.
Ten years back, even the United Nations Human Development Program was happy to sound off like an incendiary Dawkins Tweet: Its famous 2002 report blandly noted that more books are translated by Spain in a single year than have been translated into Arabic in the last thousand years.
Racist!
I asked. And coming soon from CrimsonTrace, a green LaserGrip for M&Ps. I’ll need one for a compact.
I guess wanting to re-word the second amendment means they no longer buy that collective rights nonsense they’ve pushed for years.
Wow:
Disagree and you’re racist.
Today, I received a response from Dan at ExcitingEvents.com. He was courteous and professional. He also apologized for his employee’s behavior; said his employee was overzealous; and took responsibility for not reviewing the emails before they were sent out.
Also, he sent me links to their actual shirt gun in use (it’s not the one in the video) and, let me tell you, it’s pretty awesome. I’ll show it to you once he gives the OK.
Seriously, nice guy. I commend them for reaching out to me.
Thanks, Dan!
Update: Here’s their awesome T-Shirt Gatling Gun:
Love the muzzle blast effect.
The NRA and the ACLU don’t like the fact the NSA might be maintaining a firearm database. And, you know, the snooping in general.
Someone asked me this today. I cannot think of a single case of that and neither can Google. Anyone know of one?
So, I mentioned yesterday that some guy from ExcitingEvents.com claimed to own common words in the English language and threatened me with legal action for using those words on a trademark they don’t actually own. For posterity, I’m putting the email exchange here. He always responded to me emails within minutes. But hasn’t responded to the last one. It went down just like this:
Him:
Good Afternoon,
This is Steven with Exciting Events. I’m looking for a physical mailing address for Neat-O-Rama as we would like to report some infringement on our copyright on this link
Saysuncle.com/2012/05/04/gatling-gun-t-shirt-launcher/
Could you either remove this article from your site or contact me back with a mailing address.
(obnoxious graphic-laden signature file with links to every social media site and ridiculously sized pictures deleted)
Me:
I’m not affiliated with Neatorama but their contact page is here: http://www.neatorama.com/faq#!iauyx
Him:
Can you still please remove that link from your website?
(obnoxious graphic-laden signature file with links to every social media site and ridiculously sized pictures deleted – seriously, turn that off on replies and shit. It’s annoying, Mr. Social Media guy.)
Me:
What on earth for?
Him:
Because our terminology of t-shirt gatling gun is being used without our permission.
We can have our legal team contact you if you want to go that route.(obnoxious graphic-laden signature file with links to every social media site and ridiculously sized pictures deleted – OK, now this is pain in the ass and making my head hurt
Me:
Well, giddy up. Bring on the lawyers. My lawyers would like to know your job title to address you appropriately. Any correspondence on this matter should be emailed to me here and I will forward it to them. If your legal team would like to contact me, they can at this email address. If they need a physical address, they can go through the proper channels and get my hosting service to release that information as I’m generally not keen on giving out my address to strangers on the internet. Or you could save them the time and tell them to email me.
On a personal note, this won’t end well for your company: https://www.saysuncle.com/2013/09/04/excitingevents-com-would-like-me-to-know-that-not-using-the-term-t-shirt-gatling-gun-and-instead-using-the-term-gatling-gun-t-shirt-launcher-is-still-grounds-to-sue-me/
I await the reply from the legal team.
Update: The nice people from ExcitingEvents have responded to me:

It’s kinda like the PD there is still butthurt over Heller. Meanwhile, gun criminal David Gregory got off scott free after displaying contraband live on the national TeeVee.
The gun control wishlist of deregulating NFA. It’s not going to happen. At least, any time soon. Progress could be made but it would have to be small steps, easily palatable to people who try to get elected, and you’d have to have an administration in power that isn’t out to show all you cousin-humping, bitter-clinging rednecks exactly who is in charge.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
