Words mean something.
Unless they’re adulterated by ignorant “usage”.
“Everybody Knows…” is fine, until you get to court.
In fairness, certain folk from foreign countries are
NOT required to demonstrate proficiency in “American”-as-a-second-language before being granted asylum from “oppression”, or “special” worker status, in their native lands.
It’s an awfully gay diversity discrimination thing, usually SHOUTED from behind speakers podiums.

Over at Sebastian’s, I think, there was speculation that maybe the “permits” in question are Carry Permits.
And since often those need an FBI background check, I believe, it’s possible that the shutdown is delaying them a bit.
Maybe.
On the other hand, it’s Morgan, and he probably really does somehow believe that “gun permits” are something universal and natural…
