The linked article doesn’t really take up an important issue that often arises in gun blog comment threads: what to do when your argument is conducted between, say, someone like Joe Huffman on one side and someone like Joan Peterson on the other.
Joe concluded that it was futile to argue with a person who could not distinguish truth from falsehood, nor understand that more violent crime compared to less violent crime was a bad thing.
Those are problems many anti-gunners have, and I agree with the conclusion that one tilts at windmills when one engages them.
