I call shenanigans. Everybody who’s ever seen a cop movie knows that if he really got shot he would have totally flown back into that wall behind him.

    Caliber?

That’s stupid. I had this conversation with my daughter this weekend. It came up over trick shooting or something like that — targets held by a person. You do not shoot at the direction of a person for fun. You don’t know what could make you miss in the wrong direction.

Long tradition of these set-ups, including the demonstration of the original vest, and scores of gag shots (including cannons) by the famous newsreel stringer Mike Gittinger in the 30’s. It’s an art form.

And it’s *our* art form, dammit. Probably second only to the car chase scene.

When that vest product emits some kind of bullet-specific magnetic field to draw fire to center mass only, I’ll be impressed. Otherwise it’s just dumb, and has been done in LE vendor demonstrations for many years.

  6. Gerry Says:

The president of Second Chance did that for years with handguns up to .44 Magnums.

I thought you just shot people in the hand to make them drop a weapon?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
