Accidentally (i.e., negligently) shoot yourself in the hand, and the police will take all your guns and your permit.
Man who voluntarily mows the lawns for veterans because the government won’t has been ordered by cops not to. Key bit: The officer told him news stories showing the Mall in disrepair would help government employees get back to work with full pay
A fair point. But I’d say they’re handy for varmints and the occasional riot. Not that I see much of the latter but the former, yup.
Well, looky y’all, Billy’s back*. Though I was expecting more on the endarkenment than dealing with an internet tough guy.
* I bet no one gets that reference.
I’m out. Hook a blogger up.
I was once walking through Costco pushing a loaded buggy that had a large box across the top that put it about head high. Some 20 something kid staring at his phone and walking is walking right toward me. I could have said “hey, moron, pay attention”. I didn’t. I just stopped. And watched the kid walk head first into it. He looked embarrassed, then apologized. I said to him something to the effect of “life is easier if you pay attention”. So, get your head out of your phones:
A man standing on a crowded Muni train pulls out a .45-caliber pistol.
He raises the gun, pointing it across the aisle, before tucking it back against his side. He draws it out several more times, once using the hand holding the gun to wipe his nose. Dozens of passengers stand and sit just feet away – but none reacts.
Their eyes, focused on smartphones and tablets, don’t lift until the gunman fires a bullet into the back of a San Francisco State student getting off the train.
Situational awareness is not just for gun nuts.
First, the Navy yard shooter. Then the mass non-shooting. And now, we have this:
Police have arrested an 84-year-old man accused of pointing a gun at anti-President Barack Obama protestors.
Eddie Vedder, who somehow managed to sing for a living despite his inability to open his mouth*, opened his mouth and something stupid came out. Probably why he keeps his mouth shut. Anyway, he said of gun owners:
“I get so angry that I almost wish bad things upon these people,” Vedder said. “But I don’t have to because it seems like they happen anyways. It seems like every week I’m reading about a 4-year-old either shooting their sister, their dad, their dog, their brother or themselves, because there’s fucking guns laying around. But I guess it’s ‘fun.’”
So, wishing bad things on people, such as a 4-year-old shooting their siter?
* Seriously, it sounds like he’s keeping his lips shut when singing. Or is it just me?
The state police issued a field guide for the new gun laws. But I doubt it’ll mean much:
These guys want nothing to do with the SAFE Act, and they are not going to enforce the SAFE Act, except if they have a bad guy and they are putting him under arrest and there are other charges
We’ll see.
Like David Gregory, Diane Feinstein broke the district’s gun laws. And, like Gregory, she wasn’t prosecuted. Unlike Gregory, she actually had help from the DC police department.
One of the undercover cops near the SUV beating in NY is seen on video participating in the attack.
The Spite House takes out more of its petty hatred to political enemies by shutting down the electronic forms section of the ATF site. Because, you know, leaving it in place costs more than paying some one to take it down. I suppose someone will really respond to emails, right:
eForms Outage
Due to the lapse in appropriation of federal funds, the e-Forms system is temporarily suspended until further notice.

I think so. You’re a fool if you don’t think the .gov knows who’s buying guns.
An Indiana cop is facing charges for carrying in Illinois. I would think the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act could come into play since it worked once in NY.
Oleg has some good advice. And I strongly agree with the first one so try to stay in America.
And then, twice in one day.
The Brady Campaign to Cling to Relevancy pulls out the old NRA supports terrorists canard.
I haven’t seen a report of it. But, so far, everyone they’re parading about hasn’t yet bought it.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
