As a tea party supporter… I don’t mind the term.
I just point out that if I’m the tea BAGGER, then the progressives are the tea BAGGEE…..

I used to engage people using this homophobic vile term in comments sections of blogs. I see it a lot less recently. Either the Constitutionalists have been successfully marginalized through riducule or the message has sunk in that ridicule that is non-PC reflects badly upon the user.
I don’t call the opposition democRATs, nor our current president anything similar to Chimpy McBushitler. Holding the high ground ethically as well as logically, historically and legally adds very little to my enjoyment in debates, but responsibility comes at a price many of our opposition are unwilling to pay. Perhaps there is someone civility will manage to impress eventually.
On the other hand, calling others out for being un-PC and homophobic is some consolation.

That’s fine. It gives us something to call out the hypocrisy on when President Cruz uses the term “Libtard” in official correspondence.
