Don’t let new shooters shoot hand cannons:
Corredor-Rivera died of a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Ralls County Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie tells WGEM-TV that the woman was shooting a .500-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun when the strength of the gun’s recoil caused her to lose control. She was visiting family in the area.
The sheriff said the gun spun around in her hand, leading to a second fatal shot. No charges are expected in the case.
Seriously, leave the hard to control stuff out of a new shooter’s hands.
So, the VA Gov race gap was closed due to gun control. Seems that McAuliffe had a substantial lead until Bloomberg started running gun control ads. And then the race tightened.
The NJ mall shooter, who only shot himself, was taken by police before and they returned it.
So, two thugs threaten a witness to their violent crime. The witness shoots and kills them (*applause*). And somehow, their deaths were the fault of the witness.
Somehow, a predisposition to behavior that protects your livelihood is “belligerent”? I’m Scots-Irish and Southern, I should be really violent.
Scout Rifle, part 3, solution in search of problem.
Triple witnessing. Not enough gun, too much stuff.
Officially Zumboed. Now, he’ll go on hunting tours with The Nuge to learn his lesson.
A re-enactment of a shooter featured a gun with a grenade launcher: ‘Good Morning America’ depicts LAX shooter with grenade launcher
Infiniti started changing the names of their cars to Q something. They then changed the G37 to the Q50. And instead of going more toward the fun and speedy side, they went more whiz bang gadgets and luxury. Now it’s just another pretty, comfortable, and tech-laden 50-grand car. You can still get the G37, which most people say you should.
We should pass more gun laws because we don’t enforce the ones we have. Or something.
Guns and Ammo editor calls for gun control? More he’s likely heard that well-regulated nonsense and bought some of it.
The IRS scandal day 180. A half a year and no one is in jail or even on their way to jail. Or investigated. One crony was allowed to retire with full benefits.
Yes, it seems the employees of the agency have low morale and a deep distrust of management, no doubt due to all the scandals. So, they decide to waste tax payer money:
According to information obtained by Townhall, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms will soon be opening up a store inside ATF Headquarters in Washington D.C. in an effort to boost morale.
“Currently the Office of the Director is in the process of coordinating the opening of an ATF store, which will be located in ATF HQ. The mission of the store is to serve current and former employees of ATF, Task Force Officers, and family members by promoting the general welfare and morale of the employees of ATF by providing, encouraging and supporting social, educational, and recreational activities of interest to its employees. In the coming weeks, more information will follow about the ATF HQ store,” ATF Chief of Strategic Management (OSM) Ron Humphries wrote in an email to employees on October 28, 2013.

Seen at Sebastian’s, they really try to pin fast and furious on lack of funding.
Also, Joe fixed it for you.
Pretty dumb assertion of gun control activist that an assault weapon let’s you fire 10 rounds in a minute gets taken down.
Rainbow Push is suing GA over its stand your ground law:
A civil rights group filed a federal lawsuit Friday aimed at getting Georgia’s “stand your ground law” thrown out, arguing the statute is arbitrary and hurts young black men more than anyone else.
Rainbow Push Coalition chose Georgia to begin what they envision as a series of nationwide challenges to make the controversial law more precise.
Kind of stupid for a few reasons:
This “new” law just codified existing common law.
The two cases they use to highlight the issue are pretty much just criminal activity.
I doubt they have standing.
And, also, it bears repeating since the press always trots out Trayvon Martin: Trayvon Martin’s death had nothing to do with stand your ground laws.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
