Prosecuting gun crimes

Fewer federal gun crimes prosecuted down under Obama. Well, they just want to pass those laws. Not enforce them.

It’s about setting up the infrastructure, the “tools”. They’ve been working on this strategy for generations now.

hey, the Brady group thinks that a million felons have been stopped from buying guns because of failed background checks. Why aren’t all those folks in jail?

Oh, yeah, VP Joe Biden explained that ain’t nobody got time for that.

Could be worse. They could find the time for it, and charge every single person failing a background check, then let those possibly felonious citizens use the real reason for the denial as an affirmative defense before a jury, at a cost of thousands of dollars and bail and loss of jobs and so on and so on…

A Texas DA in Houston did that with the law on traveling while armed, until the legislature stepped in to redefine the act of having a gun in your car as legal essentially when one is driving the car anywhere.

He was very proud of keeping his city safe from those rural yahoos who thought their own self defense, legal under the law, should not lead to arrest and the need to go to court and prove they were traveling in their moving car.

Imagine an entire federal judiciary running like that.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
