Sight in your rifle in two shots
The two shot zero. Yeah, mentioned it before but it’s handy to know.

I was planning to do a big “how to” write-up on the process until I found the NSSF video that explained it even better with their short video.

It is interesting, but if you know the distance to your target and your scope’s click values, and you have a grid target like that, it should work just well going by the numbers.
Did you see how he partially unlocked the bolt before he took that first shot? I’m a little surprized they let that stand in the final edit. That’s some technique there;
Lock bolt
Mount rifle
Unlock the bolt slightly, to make room for your finger

One of our loaner rifles has a cheaper scope that came with a Savage combo/package gun. The adjustments are very repeatable, but not as advertised (1 click is not 1/4 MOA, or whatever). It seems that it may not be the same from adjustment to adjustment. This method works much better, and saves a couple of 100 yard walks. Just need to remember that we really want the bullet to be a little high at 100 yards and take that into account.

Orr you could just learn inches/minutes/clicks.
