Innovate, adapt, overcome

Walking Dead blogging. Spoilers, yada yada.

A redneck bitching about a 50 yd shot? Yeah, right. Also, the kids stepped up. Using the two finger technique:

Popular among kids, even my own:

The fierce little girl reminds me of Junior. For serious.

In My Humble Opinion…(didn’t watch the vid)
Little higher on the shoulder dear.
OK,OK, everyone develops what works for them, I get it.
My Happy Gilmore “style” on the golf course?….Not so much.

This terrifies the gun-haters, you know.

I was kinda shocked to see it on Walking Dead. Happy, but shocked.

I thought the same about the 50 yd shot.

#1. You’re telling me that you don’t have a nice scoped rifle somewhere in the stash? You’re running around GA, there’s probably one in every other house.

#2. Even without said rifle, you’re telling me that Daryl MFing Dixon can’t drop a man sized target, standing rock steady motionless, with the red dot he has, at that range?

I used the two finger trigger pull when I didnt know what I was doing, too. 😀

In reality zombies would have no learning curve.

Once you find a technique that defeats them they would never figure out a counter.

Hence hanging dead meat just over a cliff and like the pied piper they would all just walk over the edge.

Using guns and precious ammo would be the LAST thing I’d use.

I didn’t get to see all of the episode in question; I’ve mostly given up on the series, but I did catch a bit of it while switching back and forth between TWD and Sunday Night Football.

Towards the end, I saw somebody running around and laying down fire with a flattop AR-15 variant…without any sort of sights, only a length of Picatinny rail on top.

I’m thinking that TWD’s zombies have more of a learning curve than the scriptwriters and most of the cast… 😉

hey, those “new york triggers” can be hard for youngins to squeeze….very torn by that scene; happy to see a positive portrayal of kids and guns, not at all happy to see that particular cast member dispatched

My thought is really sharp spikes mounted head high.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
