I wouldn’t be surprised if the real issue is the cost of the ammo. There are so few agencies that carry .357 Sig that it really must hurt the budget for training. My agency carries .40 Sig’s and they are really stingy with the training ammo. I end of doing most of my personal range time with my Beretta 92.

Yep. Cheap too. Nothing like hardly used ex cop guns. Of course the real reason they are dropping these guns is the ‘sharp’recoil.

It’s cost of ammo, cost of guns, and cost of maintenance of them.
SIGs cost more than most.
SIGs are harder for armorers to maintain.
The .357 SIG round wears out guns faster and cost more.
But, try as you might, the 9mm ain’t no .357 SIG.
