In open carry hysteria
A woman volunteer at a school asked if she could open carry her firearm. Legally, she could but the school told her no. Then, the school went into lockdown mode.

Imagine what would happen if a student asked a history teacher how the U.S. won WWII. They might have to evacuate the whole district.

Oh my lord. A lockdown because someone politely ASKED school officials if she could exercise her rights?!
And I’d almost expect this in an uber liberal anti-gun state, but not so much in MI.

The poll at the site shows 82% for law abiding citizen be allowed to carry at schools.

mike w you would be surprised at the level of “gun panic” among even the more conservative population in this state. I’m surprised that we have gotten the gun friendly reforms passed that we have in this state.

They have to teach the kids right. If the adults around them soil themselves over the mere utterance of the word “gun” often enough, many of the kids will adopt the same insanity. That’s the hope, anyway– Just like misery, insanity loves company.
The KKK did the same kind of shit with regard to black people and Jews. Nothing new here.
