Another no go in Cali
No Glock 42 for Cali residents.
It begs the question: Why Are LE’s Guns Exempt From California’s “Micro-Stamping” Law?
Because it’s not about safety.

Yeah, and the cops NEVER EVER lose their guns or have them stolen. Ever.

If cops have their guns with microstamping and they have a bad shoot then ops… they get caught.
Nope, never happen in glorious California.

This has been mentioned before elsewhere, but once microstamping guns are sold – someplace, anyplace, but especially in Cali – things would get interesting.
I see a huge potential black market in microstamped brass accumulated from range sweepings.
At which point the Californicators will want each bullet to carry a serial number.
I realize gun manufacturers are in business to make a profit by meeting consumer demand, and California is a huge market, but there comes a point when it’s time to follow Ronnie Barrett’s lead.
The downside to that is the commie states will just enact microstamping laws to keep all new gun sales at zero. At which point the black market will prosper, and crime goes through the roof.

It is only a crime if the law says it is a crime: see CO and pot.
Microstamping is an idea that misses the point of its exercise, yes, but why on earth should LEOs be exempt from the public knowing where their casings fell?

It’s all about the utterly insane Legislature with no limits placed upon them in a One-Party state. California-Vietnam.
