The ABA’s vocal support for every gun ban to come along, and their push for gun control and ignoring firearm-owners’ civil rights is why I’m proudly no longer a member of the ABA.

Left the ABA long, long ago. It is the Abandoned Bar Association.

I dropped out in 1992 right after the ABA had Anita Hill, introduced by its favorite member (Hillary Rodham Clinton) a few months before the 1992 Presidential race.
It also adoped a pro-legalized abortion position in that year.
In other words, it came out of the closet as a political organization masquerading as a professional organization.
Did the same thing with the Tn Bar Association a few years ago.
It’s political and its leadership and politics all go one way.
My bar association is the Federalist Society.

I meant to say that Anita Hill was the keynote speaker at the ABA’s 1992 convention that was appropriate held in San Francisco.
The 2 people with the most mic time are the keynote speaker and the person who introduces that person.

The ABA is basically two things.
It is a deep red, left wing apparatus that suffered the fate of all organizations that are not chartered as conservative from birth.
It is the governing body of the American extortion racket that we call the tort law system.
Yet we elect lawyers to congress.
