This is normal.
They only take these up if they have to deal with conflicting appellate court decisions.
Otherwise they allow that bloated monster, Stare Decisis, to eat them up like a Grue in the dark.

They certainly did not dispose of all the cert petitions dealing with guns. They did not even get the biggest one, yet.

Drake is the public carry case from New Jersey. It has not been reviewed – hell, the paperwork isn’t even all in, yet. While it’s slow going up at the big court on guns since McDonald, hopes are placed on Drake to get accepted now that Peruta appears off the table.
Appears…because nothing is ever really settled in the 9th Circuit.

You’ll note they also declined to take the “Is poker a skill?” case you posted about the other day. Just like I *didn’t* bet they would. 😉
