Idiotic like a fox. Idiocy has a purpose behind it– There are always some people will fall for any stupid lie. Those people are called “constituents”. The dumber the better, which is why we need separation of government and education.
Whether the idiotic statement is made by a genuine idiot, or by someone knowingly playing the part of an idiot for political gain, does not matter. It works either way, but maybe the genuine idiot is more valuable in that he doesn’t have to remember to stay in-character at the proper times. This explains a lot of promotions, appointments, running mate selections, and university and media hiring’s and firings—Idiots are a critical asset in the game of deception and usurpation.
