Because of that video, I recently learned about the Strizh pistol.
ErgoGrip for J-Frame. I don’t get it.

The text says at the Strizh has “been offered to” and later that the company “plans to offer” it to Russian Armed Forces and Police. Big whoop. La dee friggin dah.
I can advertise that we are offering Hi-Points and old Stevens Visible Loaders to the U.S. Navy SEALs and Delta Force and be telling the truth. It doesn’t mean anything of course, but it would be the truth.

For 20 bucks, I’m down with giving that weird grip a try. Though I’d probably see if I could cut the finger grooves off.

I kind of understand the concept behind the Ergo Grip. But I’d be terrified that it would flip out of my grip the first time I would shoot it.

Make the Strizh in 7.62×25 and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Some old guns, like a muzzleloading dueling pistol, or an older Euro revolver such as the Webley Mk 1, point very naturally. That’s what the Ergo is meant to emulate. I doubt that a J-frame so equipped will flip out of the shooter’s grip– the hand will wrap around the grip. I plan to put a set on my 642.

Did someone say Spetsnaz?!!!!
Quick, order 24 of them, and keep them in the back room for sale only to Bubbas who want to buy a Spetsnaz gun, despite them knowing it must be illegal to own such a special weapon!
