Oppressive Regimes
In NJ, Man hears a ruckus. Gets shotgun to check it out. It’s the police at a neighboring property. The police tried to put him away for 10 years. Fortunately, a jury acquitted him.

What do you want to bet he was arrested because the officers present shit themselves when they heard him pump the shotgun???

Lucky him, in Albuquerque he’d lain dead on his doorstep as a “clear threat” to officer safety.

“Albuquerque.”
In Detroit, they’d have shot him on Beaubien, and dragged the stiff over to John R because it’s easier to spell on the report.

Yea in Texas they would have shot him (as has been done in the last year here.)
If I hear a ruckus I take my Glock, hidden in it’s holster, and I don’t wave it around unless I see a real threat.
See, I don’t wanna be shot, or arrested.

It’s obvious that he should have fired two warning shots over the suspicious persons’ heads. Biden was right, it’s not enough to just point the shotgun, you have to fire it. Twice.
Thank God for sensible juries.

I own both a Glock and a shotgun. Now I’m conflicted about “better defensive weapon” vs “less likely to be shot by officers.”
Perhaps I need to switch to an AR, and avoid such issues?
