82 house anti-gunners ask Obama to expand import ban

Good for them. They should do it.
Really. I am serious.
A good number of our supposed friends in Congress don’t really care for actual action on pro-gun issues. They just pander. Let Obama start taking executive action, and they will have no choice but to decide whose side they are on.
If we win the Senate and the House, Obama should be forced to veto a metric shit-ton of legislation, because every bill should have a pro-gun rider attached that fixes this crap once and for all. He wants more HUD money…import restriction gone. More HHS dollars…a pay-at-the-counter tax stamp for silencers using nothing but NICS.
And the grand-daddy of them all: fix health care and we get carry reciprocity with real protections for carriers. Let’s toss DC constitutional carry in while we are at it. There is a lot of action the Congress can take were they sufficiently motivated by voters. But we let them get by; we think we have no choice but to play defense in congress. I say good if Obama lights the fire under our collective asses. No more defense. We go on offense from here on out.
Honestly, outside of a few lawmakers most of the A-rated people are just good talkers. They play the fence amazingly well. Let’s hope Obama smashes the fence so we can see where they fall. The sooner he does it (before mid-terms), the better.
Go Obama, Go!
