6.5 grendel in a sbr? Something different, I guess.
Personally if I wanted a 6.5 AK I would have necked down 7.62 brass to 6.5×39. None of the case straightening antics of the grendel. That way I could use standard Ak mags. All that would really be required is the barrel and some gas flow calculations.

Strange.
It would have been easier to just make a 6.5×39 wildcat, and re-barrel a normal AK.
Use a real AK magazine, dammit.
