Clearly the authors of the article never handled a ‘Hattori Hanzo’ blade.
I do think they never handled any of the very light Bowies made. Some are quite light, strong, and when handled well, will do fine. Just need practice.
As a reminder, if you live in Tn you can carry knives having a blade of any length (not just 4″ or less) and automatic knives on and after July 1, 2014.
This is my kind of progressive legislation.
Previously, someone like me, who needs a knife/machete for his farm had to run the risk of violating the law to keep one in the truck or Jeep, which was a little silly since I have a permit to carry a handgun.
