They took our jobs!
So, companies operate in areas that are friendly to them. Shocking. Bonus, kicking out unions.

Wasn’t the superior weapons manufacturing capability of the Union a major deciding factor of the civil war?
That is no longer going to be the case.

Divemedic;
If civil war comes again, it won’t be north and south. It will be rural against urban, leftist progressives against American Patriots, next door neighbor against next door asshats.
It will be like the Rovolutionary War, where our enemies lived among us cheek by jowl. The winners stayed here, the surviving losers were forced to leave.

Remington didn’t seem to be all that vocal.
But I second Divermedic. I’ve been saying that as well. All industry and firearms knowledge seems to be heading south. You do not want to be the northeast if it’s breaks down that way again.

If that happens, I pity Canada, since they took the Tories in after the war.

“Remington’s decision to move two gun production lines from New York to Huntsville …”
Since when is a no-brainer a “decision”?
And New York has the brilliance to advertise in Tennessee encouraging businesses to move to New York.
Is that some kind of joke?
Lot’s of luck, guys.

If there were another “civil war” it’d pretty much be the South and Mid-West kicking the coasts and parts of Michigan out. Not another “we leave.”
“You get the #$%@ out.”

As Neal Boortz delighted in pointing out, “They’re not YOUR jobs, they’re your EMPLOYER’s jobs!”
