The NRA is racist and conservative and also may have cooties.

Is the NRA too doctrinaire? And more from Tam.

I think they may have gotten the memo with their new urban, hipster internet TV called, and I am not making it up, NRA Freestyle. I mean, I get what they’re doing but they might be trying a little too hard.

Two new combat rifles

The two most interesting. I was kind of hoping the Masada would take off. But it hasn’t and I figure there’s a reason for that.

Heh. Comments are gold.

What is their goal?

Every Town seems to lack defined goals or any real plan. Likely due to marketing. If they post a position, they then can’t lie and say they support the second amendment.

Override in progress

OK house votes overwhelmingly to override governor’s veto of shall certify NFA approval.

Strategery

Alan Gottlieb says the gun lobby should lead and not follow on background check legislation. A fair point.

Well, they have to lie about it

A shooting that has nothing to do with “castle doctrine” but the press insists it does. Kinda like how the Martin case had nothing to do with “stand your ground”. It’s in print, it must be true.

Once he pointed a gun at someone, it was a moral imperative to kill him

Two thugs rob a waffle house. One CCW holder decides to introduce one of them’s inside to the outside world. He dies. Everyone claps. Good clean defensive guns use. Except the family lies:

Nineteen-year-old Dante Williams’ family said there is no doubt he entered the Waffle House in Chesnee back in January of 2012 intent on robbing it, but they say he didn’t have to die.

Yes, he did. Once he pointed a gun and threatened someone he had to die. It was the moral imperative. Period. And the headline:

Spartanburg Waffle House shooting video released, sparks new debate

It’s not a new debate and this scum’s death didn’t spark shit.

But he’s accomplished so little

MAIG or whatever they call themselves Executive Director stepping down

I forgot about that

Mentioned it before, but the ATF glory hole story is making a come back.

A product I recommend is on sale

The ResQMe, which I’m a huge fan of and have in all of my vehicles, is on sale at Amazon.

Unothering

Why, it’s like gun owners are people too.

6 wacky laws in Tennessee

A list. No mention of TN’s tax on illegal drugs that you cannot pay. Or the stupid “send a drug addict to jail because she got knocked up” law.

Good Samaritan

The thing that surprises me most about this news report from Texas is the reporters. They call him a hero and not a vigilante. Happy about the guns. Why, it’s like America:

A gun victory in MA

Prior drug conviction does not bar firearms ownership
