Our own Metro Planning Commission has an astroturfing website called KnoxFood.Org. You have to dig around to find their ties to the MPC, since the MPC logo does not appear anywhere on the site. Over at the MPC site, there is no link to KnoxFood.Org. Some of the Lord’s work they have done is drawing attention to the “food deserts” while the MPC got Walmart and Publix to open stores in the sorority row food desert, and a Target grocery in the Ray Mears food desert corridor. http://austriananarchy.blogspot.com/2014/06/knoxville-mpc-brings-walmart-and-publix.html
