I don’t see what’s cool looking about it, looks ugly to me. If you follow the links to their website, then store, then item (each link spawns a new window), they explain: “The Cholera was named from the disease that can live in the belly of a Vulture!”
I just assumed they were going with a Four Horsemen theme: ‘New, from our Pestilence line – Cholera and Anthrax!’
Perhaps they’ll develop some pocket knives. They can name them for diseases that live in mosquitoes: Malaria and West Nile.
@nk: for skinning and gutting, the Sharp Finger is a good knife, but it falls down on more general tasks, which is what the Cholera is designed for.
A better all-purpose knife for less $$ would be the ESEE-4 or ESEE-5, depending on preference. Another good one for a LOT less cash would be the Swedish Mora.

Why not call it the Typhoid? Or the Ebola – or more common yet the Amoebic Dysentery? How about the Syphilis? What a bunch of asshats.

Rob, I was just about to bring up the Mora. I have one of these that even has a firestarter with it like the Cholera does.
